What We Handle

Door repairs and adjustments
We fix doors that stick, drag, will not latch, or swing open on their own, and repair damaged frames, hinges, and strike plates. North Texas soil movement makes this one of our most common calls.

Trim carpentry
We install and repair baseboards, door casings, window trim, and crown molding, and replace pieces that are damaged, warped, or missing.

Fence and gate repairs
We replace broken pickets and rails, reset leaning posts, and fix gates that sag or will not latch, so the fence keeps doing its job.

Cabinet modifications
We adjust and repair cabinet doors and drawers, replace hinges and slides, and modify cabinets to fit new appliances or a better layout.

Wood rot repairs
We cut out rotted siding, trim, fascia, and window and door frames, replace them with new material, and seal and paint so water stays out.

Exterior repairs
We handle the outside of the house too: siding, trim, soffits, decks, and steps that have taken a beating from the Texas weather.

Hardware installation
We install and replace door handles, deadbolts, cabinet pulls, towel bars, and other hardware, and make sure everything lines up and works smoothly.
Carpentry and Repair Questions We Hear in Denton County
Why do my doors stick or stop latching?
In North Texas, foundations shift as clay soil swells and shrinks with the weather, which pulls door frames slightly out of square. Most of the time we can fix it by adjusting hinges, strikes, or the door itself. If many doors are affected, it may be worth having a foundation professional take a look.
Can you repair wood rot, or does it all need to be replaced?
We remove only the damaged wood and replace it with new material, then seal and paint. We also look for the source of the water, because rot comes back if the leak is not fixed.
Is my repair too small to call about?
No. Small repairs are a big part of what we do. If you have several small items, we can usually knock them out in a single visit.
Do you repair fences and gates?
Yes. We replace pickets and rails, reset posts, and fix sagging gates. For a full fence replacement, ask us and we will let you know if it is a fit.
